We are SO excited to begin another fun Acorn Seeds of Creativity Visual Art and Garden Camp week tomorrow!
We have lots of fun activities planned for our camp week.
If your kid(s) are coming tomorrow- Please read this over so you know what's happening!

URBAN GARDEN
Exploring : Garden Tools and Care. Water Art and Stone Creatures. Cicadas. Building a Fountain!
Artists will experiment with different art techniques this week, hear great stories and make a mural.
This week includes :
- Garden Tour! Making our Sketchbooks and drawing plants
- Caring for our urban garden. Water games and art!
- Cicadas! Games and picnic in the Rawlinson field.
- Bulding a Fountain and Painting Stone Creatures.
- We're making a pizza lunch today! Urban Butterfly Mural

We have 5 fantastic additional artist facilitator/ guest teachers / helpers joining us this week.
Their names are Anna, Emma, Colin, Gabe and Marni!
- Seeds of Creativity Camp runs from 10AM to 3PM and the garden gate opens at 9:45.
- Please send your child with a packed lunch (except Friday!), hat, sunscreen, sturdy outdoor shoes and a water bottle. Please pack an extra change of clothes if you think that would be a good idea for your child. Also please send a bathing suit - if it's super hot we may use the sprinkler or decide to play with water.
- Campers will be receiving their new sketchbooks on Monday!
- We'll be working on a group mural throughout the week.
- Each day will include a morning stretch, Mid Day Meditation, Community Walk or a run in the park and End of Day Circle.
- We'll be having lunch at noon and snacks throughout the day.
- I know most of your children and they are comfortable with me. If I don't know your child(ren), or even if I haven't seen them in a while, please tell them all about me, show them the website and program pictures. They will be happy to see these things and it will be reassuring when it comes time to drop them off. Explain to them how you will be getting here, what the camp schedule is for Monday, when you will be picking them up (3) and answer their questions. This should help with any initial apprehension on Monday when you drop them off for 10.
Camp fee is $327.70 ($290. + HST)
Have you submitted your registration form? Please find attached and reply to this email with your form or bring the attached form with your child's information on Monday.
